Now is the time to jump start the effort to gather signatures. 

Here are some practical steps you can take to help.

Sign up to receive email updates.  As news breaks, we will keep you informed.  Whether it is legislation, such as SB 1160, at the Capitol, or the efforts of San Francisco to allow non-citizens to vote, Save Our License will keep you informed and up to date.

Circulate petitions.  We are currently gathering signatures for the Save Our License initiative.  We only have until mid-February to turn in 600,000 valid signatures.  Please sign up today to have petitions mailed to you, or download a petition today.

Make a donation.  This is an expensive undertaking, and we truly need your financial support.  If you could make a generous contribution of any amount, either online or through the mail, we would be most grateful.  You can even designation your contribution to be used for the paid signature gatherers or the mailing of petitions to volunteers.

Tell others about our website.  We will soon be setting up several e-cards that you can send to your friends to let them know about the Save Our License initiative.  Send them to everyone in your address book.  Help spread the word!

Call in to radio talk shows and discuss the issue.  You'll find talking points in "The Initiative" section of the website.

Write a letter to the editor.  Find your local newspaper and send a letter to the editor encouraging people to sign the initiative petitions, and to visit our website for information.  Click here for sample letter.
